Who is Virgen?

My role as a group facilitator is one of the most rewarding roles I play as a professional in society. I enjoy providing spaces for individuals where they can feel seen, acknowledged, and a sense of belonging, in a setting where there will be no judgment. My background is in human behavior, reason why I am fascinated by the transformations individuals can obtain by being part of a group.

I received my bachelor’s in Psychology from Ana G Mendez University, as well as I am a Certified Family Case Manager. I have many years of experience in the social field, working as an advocate for families with special needs individuals, both adults and children. I enjoy being an agent of change in the life of others, and offer consulting services outside of group support, which are more individualized to each specific case.

My consulting services are geared towards empowering and providing resources, to encourage individuals to feel confident and capable, as they make decisions on which direction to go.

Where can you find me when I am not playing the role of facilitator and consultant, you can find me socializing with friends and family members, reading a book, listening to music, or cooking a delicious meals for my two young adult children, that includes one with special needs.
