How can Health Wellness and Body Confidence Coaching help you?
Health Wellness Coaching is a less in-depth approach I use, outside of my therapist role, to help women reach their nutritional and physical wellness goals. This plays a big role in one’s emotional and mental health. The body and mind connection is a contributing factor in our journey to fullfillment. As a certified yoga teacher, I have learned how the lack of connection with our own bodies, inhibits our abilities to navigate our way through life’s ups and downs.
When we make time to learn about how we can nourish that thing that keeps us going (our bodies), we are more likely to develop a deeper connection with the self, understand the practice of self-care, self compassion, and self devotion. These are atributes that lead to a state of awareness, and a better understanding of how those habitual patterns of behaviors sabotage our ability to live joyfully.
Health Wellness Coaches interact in a different way with individuals receiving coaching, than with those receiving therapy. Health Wellness Coaches help individuals who, for the most part, express that their day to day is going fine, yet they still feel that there is something missing in their lives. They might just express feeling overwhelmed because of the many roles they play in their lives and are having a difficult time finding a space where they can focus their energy on nourishing their bodies, so they can achieve fisical strength, and a sense of health. They may express lack of motivation, lack of knowledge, and desired to learn in a less structured enviroment. They might just need suggestions and recomendations from someone whom has been exactly where they have been. Wellness Coaches guide individuals in exploring and discovering new possibilities, and ways to help find balance without neglecting one’s health. Wellness Coaches suggest different systems, recomend different tools, and simply play a more active role in holding the coachee accauntable.
In my role as a Health Wellness Coach, I will work with you to help you identify your Health and Physical needs. We will strategize a plan of action based on your physical and health wellness goals. I will suggest a system to help you get started with your health and physical transformation. We will connect regularly to discuss and assess progress and how coaching is helping you meet your wellness goals.
