Immigration Evaluations

It is not uncommon to see individuals needing psychological immigration assessments for visa purposes, suffering emotional distress or some sort of mental illness, such as, Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, among others. We understand the importance of proper documentation when it comes to psychological assessments for individuals in need of a visa due to Extreme Hardship, Asylum, or Victim of Domestic Abuse (VAWA). Our practice clinician Rosmer Mena, truly understands the importance of a thorough psychological assessment. We understand that each case is different, therefore we make sure our assessments bring people’s stories to life. Our goal is to make sure our clients have successful cases, and we work closely with immigration attorneys to make sure that all needed documentations are in place. We take the data collected very seriously, during our one-on-one assessment, as this data is the factor which can bring to light evidence that could have gone unnoticed if not properly evaluated and documented. We strongly believe that a Psychological Immigration Assessment is an important and valuable tool during court hearings and the immigration process.

The process of this evaluation takes approximately two to three individualized sessions. After these sessions are held, the psychotherapist executes a detailed report over a one-week period. This report is delivered to the client, to be handed over to the lawyer who oversees the case.
